Our Mission
Georgetown Presbyterian Church is a community of faith, bound and driven by the love of Jesus Christ, called to nurture discipleship and share God’s grace with all generations through worship and music, meaningful fellowship, mutual care for one another, and support for those in need who live in our community and beyond.
Our Church
Georgetown Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA). We affirm that we are a part of the universal fellowship of Christian churches, which includes all those who acknowledge the one triune God, profess faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and trust the redeeming power of the Holy Spirit.
Church History
Founded on October 24, 1897 by eight Georgetown citizens who banded together to become charter members, our congregation is now the fourth largest in the New Harmony Presbytery. Currently, Rev. Joel M. Long is serving as the Bridge Transitional Pastor of Georgetown Presbyterian Church.
