Georgetown Presbyterian Church

Under direction of Worship and Congregational Care Committees, Mourning Comforters are volunteers, including circle members, who minister to the needs of families in GPC at the time of the death of a beloved family member. The Comforters offer a meal in the home for up to 25 people, either before or after the service held at GPC, or hold a reception at the church, either before of after the service. The reception will consist of homemade cookies, cheese straws, nuts and punch.
